Way back in 1981, when we first opened shop in Bangalore, we realised the need for a good training programme for students who wanted to learn the guitar. Looking around and realising that most other teachers were either teaching classical guitar which usually has a long learning period with exams etc and others were teaching the more "conventional" method of learning a melody slowly through notes. We thought it would really be great if we could have a facility where students could come and learn "fun" guitaring. A place where a student could learn popular songs and sing along playing chords when out at a party or a picnic.

Robert Xavier, who has been playing professional guitar in Bangalore since over 20 years, was more than willing to pass on his knowledge to students who were interested. Today Robert has over 100 students from the age of 10 till 60 who come from all over Bangalore to learn the guitar!
